Host Your Event at Memorial Gardens

About North Bay

North Bay is a vibrant city of 54,000 people and has a regional population of 109,000.

It is a beautiful and welcoming community that offers a variety of amenities including fabulous restaurants, attractions and a waterfront park.  It is a refreshing location to host your next concert or event.

North Bay is home to the award winning Nipissing University and to Canadore College, one of the fastest growing colleges in Ontario.  Together, the two institutions boast more than 10,000 part-time and full-time students.

It really is "Just North Enough to be Perfect", located just 3.5 hours north of Toronto, 4 hours west of Ottawa and only a short distance from other major Ontario centres such as Huntsville and Sudbury.

Our convenient, centralized location coupled with modern facilities ensures that we maintain cost effective land, rail and air services for both business and leisure travellers.

North Bay is within a day's drive to more than 100 million consumers.  To reach our destination, you have the choice of six border crossings such as New York City, Detroit, Boston and Chicago.

Comprehensive medical services in North Bay are provided by the new $550 million dollar North Bay Regional Health Centre.

Why Memorial Gardens

  • Winner of Hockeyville 2007 where we saw the NHL's Atlanta Thrashers and New York Islanders battle it out on the rink.
  • Proud host of the 2014 World Ringette Championships.
  • Became home to the North Bay Battalion in the fall of 2013, an OHL team that drew approximately 160,000 fans in its 2013-2014 season.
  • Host to great figure skating events such as Celebration on Ice and Skate the Nation where Brian Orser, Kurt Browning and Elvis Stojko made their sport come alive.
  • Rafters have resonated with the melodic tunes of George Jones and Charlie Pride and to the hell raising banter of Alice Cooper and the Tragically Hip.
  • Provider of fun for the whole family with the likes of the Garden Brothers Circus and Dora the Explorer.

This facility can be transformed to suit any event.  Our dedicated staff will do their best to help your event be a success!

Getting to North Bay

Easily accessible by land or air, North Bay's location provides convenient links for transportation and communication-related activities.  It is situated at the crossroads of the Trans-Canada Highway and Highway 11 corridor and is on the national high-speed fibre optic network.

Just minutes from the downtown core, North Bay's Jack Garland Airport is the largest airport north of Toronto and accommodates all types of aircraft and special guests.
